Kiel residents and associations who want to promote the town twinning with joint initiatives can submit an application for project funding to the City of Kiel.

The "Strengthening Kiel's international city partnerships through projects and personal exchanges" development fund provides 150,000 euros annually for this purpose.

Please note: The projects must be related to a partner city and also contribute to achieving the three overall objectives of "Kiel International" - global responsibility / international understanding / sustainability; commitment to Europe; strengthening Kiel as a business location.
