The Central Library of the City of Kiel is launching a pilot project for low-threshold social counseling. The idea arose in collaboration with the San Francisco Public Library, which has had social workers on its team since 2014.
Michael Lambert and Maureen Singleton demonstrated the many ways in which the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) acts as a cultural and meeting place for the community during a professional exchange with the Kiel Public Library.
