The high-flyer is in the starting blocks: The startup competition will enter its fourth round in 2022! Together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Labor, Technology and Tourism of Schleswig-Holstein, the Marketing Club Schleswig-Holstein and StartUp SH, we naturally want to continue the success story and offer startups from Schleswig-Holstein the opportunity to present themselves, make contacts and broaden their horizons in our partner city San Francisco again this year. There will be a few new features this year, as the competition will consist of three parts this time.

On 17.06.2022 our kick-off event took place at the Waterkant Festival. Here, our winners reported on their experiences and their trip to Silicon Valley. The jury also had another opportunity to ask what this trip meant to the winners and how the startups have developed. Furthermore, new startups were given the chance to pitch their ideas to parts of our jury to check whether they are ready to apply for the Überflieger 2022.

The closing date for applications is 28.08.2022, after which we will invite all start-ups and sponsors to a pre-event on 19.09.2022. There will be an opportunity to exchange ideas before the sponsors cast their votes for the finalists. There will also be an interesting panel discussion with the premium partners of Überflieger 2022. As in previous years, the final with the finalists' live pitches and the selection of the winners will take place on October 5, 2022 in the state government's Guest House B. This is where the three winners will be chosen to travel to Silicon Valley.
