On June 10, 2022, a workshop on the topic of "Al in Imaging" (artificial intelligence for image data) took place at Kiel University (CAU). Professor Sharmila Majumdar, Head of the Center for Intelligent Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), welcomed the 70 Participants of the CAU/UCSF workshop. With various visualized presentations from Kiel University, UCSF, GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, West Coast University of Applied Sciences and the State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation SH (land registry office), it was shown how similar AI methods enable interdisciplinary cooperation in all these subject areas and institutions.

The event was organized by the Biomedical Imaging Section, Department of Radiology and Neurology, University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, and organized by the #UniKiel.
