Around the World Live Singalong of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco"
#SingOutSF
San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Tony Bennett invite you and your families, friends, colleagues and community to join others from around the world for a live singalong of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" on Saturday, April 25 at 9 p.m. CET.
The invitation states, "San Francisco is deeply enriched by our sister cities. The cultural, social and economic ties between our city and our sister cities that each of you has developed and continues to nurture are even more important in these challenging times." Everyone is encouraged to take to their balconies and backyards, complete with laptops and smartphones, to support all frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19 to send a message of love and strength. Participants are encouraged to live stream and record their performances of Tony Bennet's classic ballad via their favorite online social media resources (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) using the hashtag #SingOutSF.
"Our city has come together in an unprecedented way to confront this public health crisis, and I know our residents will continue to do everything they can to protect our communities and lead us through this challenging time," said Mayor London Breed. "By taking a moment to collectively remember and celebrate our frontline health workers and all those working to make a difference during this pandemic, then we can recognize how connected we are to each other, not just here in San Francisco, but around the world."

(Intro)
The loveliness of Paris
Seems somehow sadly gay
The glory that was Rome
Is of another day
I've been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan
And I'm coming home to my city by the Bay
(Chorus)
I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars
Climb halfway to the stars!
And the morning fog will chill the air
My love waits there (my love waits there) in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
Your golden sun will shine for me!
I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars
Climb halfway to the stars!
And the morning fog will chill the air
I don't care
My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
Your golden sun will shine for me!
