The first The Bay Areas Lecture with Professor Keith Hodgson from Stanford University and the title

"Imaging of Biological Systems with X-rays and Electrons: Tools and Scientific Discovery at Stanford and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory"

took place on March 14, 2019 at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) takes place.
In a specialist lecture, Professor Hodgson presented scientific findings and tools in the field of studying biological systems with X-rays and electrons at Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

On this occasion CAU-President Professor Lutz Kipp presented the "Bay Areas Lecture" certificate to Stanford Professor Dr. Keith Hodgson for the first time.

The lecture was followed by a small reception, which provided an opportunity to get to know Prof. Hodgson.

Prof. Dr. Felix Tuczek opens the Bay Areas Lecture 2019

On Friday, March 15, 2019, Prof. Hodgson gave another lecture in which he focused on innovative perspectives on research and teaching in the context of the Bay Area at Stanford University and the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.

The 2019 lecture was organized by Prof. Dr. Felix Tuczek from the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at Kiel University.
