Companies from Schleswig-Holstein have innovative digital business models developed by student groups that have not yet been considered by the companies or have not been implemented due to uncertainties.
The aim for the teams is to develop a digital business model with which the company can redefine its position on the market in a future-oriented way and positively change the relationship between customers and the company through the use of digital technologies.
The task for the student teams is to go beyond a draft concept and create a business model as well as submit an initial description of how the innovation works in order to be able to check its feasibility. Both are assessed by a board of experts. This approach enables companies to gain valuable information by identifying opportunities in order to optimize their business and pursue innovative paths that they can then implement with the support of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Schleswig-Holstein.
Students are given access to the companies via designated employees who, if necessary, establish contact with other relevant employees in the company. In addition to the information provided by the company, all publicly available information may be used. Illegally acquired information is not permitted for use.
