The Bay Areas e. V. is enabling the Theodor-Strom Gemeinschaftsschule Kiel-Wellingdorf to travel to San Francisco as part of an educational project funded by the city of Kiel. Two teachers and three students will be able to travel to San Francisco for a week in May 2020 together with the project manager, Jens Buchloh. The teachers were selected by the school management based on competence criteria. The Year 9 students were able to apply for the three places and explain why they are suitable for the mission (language skills, motivation, etc.)
