A visit to the start-up universe naturally includes a visit to the Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley. There we spoke to Elina Gorji and Amir Amidi about the opportunities for Schleswig-Holstein start-ups to take part in programs and about the visit of the high-flyer start-ups next spring.
As one of the most successful international accelerators, Plug and Play offers young founders expertise in a wide range of sectors as well as interesting networking opportunities with companies and investors.
We were also given an insight into the program of the start-ups, which were able to work on their business models for six weeks at Plug and Play thanks to funding from the state of Schleswig-Holstein, including a pitch at the three-day Silicon Valley Summit.
Great network effect:
Raitschin Raitschew, who was part of one of these founding teams, took the opportunity as a TBA member to network the six SH teams with both Consul General Oliver Schramm and young companies from the Bay Area through our new contacts at GABA Northern California - German American Business Association.
