Our nine Kiel swimmers successfully took part in the "Escape from Alcatraz" odyssey and mastered the challenging route from the prison island back to San Francisco Bay. 🏊‍♀️ Thanks to our friends from the South End Rowing Club for the organization and the warm welcome of our Kiel swimmers. At the same time, the International Film Festival took place in our twin city, where the CINEMARE Film Festival from Kiel was also represented. The two festivals have been cooperating for years under the motto "Two Festivals - One Ocean" to draw attention to the importance of protecting the oceans.
And not to forget: On July 8, the "Lighthouse Swim Kiel" will take place on the Kiel Fjord, where the swimmers will once again compete as ambassadors for # marine protection. We look forward to seeing our friends from San Francisco again in Kiel! 💙
