Speed pitching and networking above the rooftops of Kiel - Überflieger Business Lounge brings start-ups and supporters together

At this year's Überflieger Business Lounge, all applicants for the 5th Überflieger competition met entrepreneurs and start-up supporters at the InnoPier in Kiel. In front of around 80 guests, the start-ups had just one minute to present their business models and ideas and arouse the audience's curiosity. The fast-paced speed pitching provided plenty of input and, following the pitches, offered the perfect basis for extensive discussions about good ideas and innovative approaches for Schleswig-Holstein as well as possible points of contact with Silicon Valley.

The jury had the difficult task of selecting the finalists in the Early Stage category from many exciting applications. After the jury was able to meet the applicants in person at the Überflieger Business Lounge, the decision was not easy. The final and the awarding of the winners

On September 7, 2023, the finalists will present their pitches to an eager jury in the state government's guest house. Minister of Economic Affairs Claus Ruhe Madsen and the jury will then select the three most promising start-ups as the high-flyers of 2023. The winners can expect an intensive and inspiring week in San Francisco and the start-up mecca of Silicon Valley - a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and make valuable contacts.
