The Kiel Baltic Hurricanes are the most successful American football team in Schleswig-Holstein. They play in the German Football League (GFL), the 1st Bundesliga of German football, and as a member of The Bay Areas, they invited us to the networking evening.<\/p>\n

This BAM was definitely sporty. We learned a lot about the game - it's all about gaining space - and the history of the club. It was founded in 1988 and now has more than 600 members. The Canes have already won championship and runner-up titles at both German and European level. In addition to the 1st men's team, which we were able to watch in training, there are various other teams for men, women, youth and flag teams that play without physical contact. The club also has three cheerleading teams, which, in addition to performing at matches, also successfully take part in state and German championships.<\/p>\n
