The<\/strong>\u00a0Winners travel to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Schleswig-Holstein is a start-up state. Innovative ideas from Schleswig-Holstein are set to conquer the world. Thanks to the partnership between the cities and regions of Kiel and San Francisco, Schleswig-Holstein has gained enormous potential. The association The Bay Areas e.V. supports the partnership by connecting people and organizations in the regions of San Francisco, Kiel and Schleswig-Holstein. The Start-up Association\u00a0SH<\/span>\u00a0helps start-ups to implement their ideas. The Marketing Club Schleswig-Holstein helps companies to communicate their ideas. Together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Employment, Technology and Tourism of Schleswig-Holstein, the three clubs have organized a state-wide competition\u00a0OVERFLYER<\/span>\u00a0for young innovative start-ups from Schleswig-Holstein, the application phase of which starts with the press conference on 09.06.2021.<\/p>\n

The common goal is for more people in Schleswig-Holstein to found successful growth companies. The state-wide start-up competition, which was organized for the first time in 2018\u00a0OVERFLYER<\/span>\u00a0will enter its 3rd round in 2021. For the winners, this means taking part in a trip to San Francisco. They will also benefit from extensive networking with representatives from business, science and politics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Innovative start-ups that are no more than three years old and based in Schleswig-Holstein can take part. Each startup sends a letter of motivation and a pitch deck to the organizers. Six finalists will be selected from all the submissions and will reach the final of the competition under the watchful eye of the Schleswig-Holstein Minister of Economic Affairs and a high-caliber jury.\u00a0OVERFLYER<\/span>\u00a0contest in 2021.<\/p>\n
