The Bay Areas verbindet Menschen, Organisationen und Netzwerke in den Regionen San Francisco, Kiel und Schleswig-Holstein miteinander. Wir f\u00f6rdern die Entwicklung neuer Partnerschaften und Kontakte und erweitern dadurch stetig das bestehende Netzwerk. Der Austausch umfasst so vielseitige Bereiche wie Kultur, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Bildung, Politik und Sport.<\/p>

Innovate my Business Model – In Kooperation mit den Hochschulen des Landes entwickeln Studierende in nur einer Woche innovative digitale Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle f\u00fcr die teilnehmenden Unternehmen. Gemeinsam mit KI.SH und DiWiSH f\u00f6rdert The Bay Areas damit die Kooperation von Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft, bietet Unternehmen frische Ideen und Impulse sowie die Chance, junge Talente kennenzulernen. Studierende sammeln praktische Erfahrungen und kn\u00fcpfen Kontakte zu potenziellen Arbeitgebern.<\/p>

Lighthouse Swim<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dieses Open Water Schwimm-Event wurde aus einer Initiative von B\u00fcrger:innen aus Kiel und San Francisco heraus ins Leben gerufen und findet j\u00e4hrlich sowohl in Kiel als auch in San Francisco statt. Schwimmer*innen aus beiden Regionen schwimmen wahlweise 4 oder 14 Kilometer f\u00fcr den Meeresschutz durch die Kieler F\u00f6rde. Ein Rahmenprogramm an der Kiellinie mit Live-\u00dcbertragungen, Entertainment und Aktionsst\u00e4nden von Meeresschutzorganisationen macht die Veranstaltung f\u00fcr die breite \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich.<\/p>

\u00dcberflieger Wettbewerb<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Der „\u00dcberflieger“ ist ein landesweiter Start-up-Wettbewerb, der gemeinsam vom Wirtschaftsministerium Schleswig-Holstein und den drei Vereinen Marketingclub SH, StartUp SH und TheBayAreas veranstaltet wird. Ziel ist es, Start-ups eine B\u00fchne zu bieten und ihnen neue Netzwerke mit wichtigen Kontakten sowohl in Schleswig-Holstein als auch in San Francisco zu er\u00f6ffnen. Die drei Gewinner des Wettbewerbs fliegen f\u00fcr eine Woche in das Start-up-Mekka Silicon Valley und profitieren von dem dortigen Mindset, dem Denken in gro\u00dfen Dimensionen und unserem Netzwerk vor Ort.<\/p>

In diesem gemeinsamen Format von Waterkant und The Bay Areas drehen wir den Spie\u00df um: Unternehmen pitchen ihre Business Challenge vor einem Publikum aus ausgew\u00e4hlten Start-ups und Gr\u00fcndungsinteressierten und profitieren von deren innovativem Wissen. Ziel: Match-Making und gemeinsame L\u00f6sungsentwicklung f\u00fcr die Unternehmen sowie Vernetzung der Start-ups mit dem Mittelstand.<\/p>
